Quicktime Video for Windows Install Instructions

Copy all the files except for "qtw.ini" to the Windows
System directory (c:\windows\system).  Copy "qtw.ini"
to the Windows directory (c:\windows).

Modify c:\windows\win.ini by adding 
 
mov=mplayer.exe /play ^.mov

to the stanza [extensions] (create stanza if necessary).

also add

mov=QTWVideo

to the stanza [mci extensions] (create stanza if necessary).


Next, modify c:\windows\system.ini by adding

QTWViedo=mciqtw

to the stanza [mci] (create stanza if necessary).



Reboot.
